Rodeo

Sweater: H & M // Shirt: H & M // Hat: Urban Outfitters
Pants: Charlotte Russe // Shoes: Traffic // Purse: TJ MAXX // Necklace: ETSY

I have been falling in love with H&M, their style can be casual or dressy, depending on what you're looking for. This sweater has a wide-cut with a straight- style. It's fine-knit and I love the long sleeves and the orange color. It's perfect to transition to spring! The back is slightly longer and the edges are a bit rolled for a casual look. I decided to tie the side of the sweater because it was a bit too long and I wanted to show off the striped button down I wore underneath.

I wanted to play around with color for this look and add different textures with the button down and the wide-cut sweater. Then to add extra color, I went with a bold blue purse that contrasts well with orange. All I've been wearing are jeans, this one and a few others that are similar, but they are all so comfortable ! I love Charlotte Russe for their jeans!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

yellow in winter

Sweater:H & M  Vest: The Limited Scarf: Made by me, Fabric: random fabric store
Purse: EXPRESS

Happy Wednesday babes!
I'm so excited to share with you my first ever sown scarf! It really wasn't that hard and I had so much fun making it! My sister got me a sewing machine for Christmas because I want to start sowing my own clothes together, I'm no professional but I love learning! I started off with something easy and let me tell you...PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. hah! The scarf was so big and warm, when I would forget a hat, I would just pull the scarf up to cover my head. Let me know if you want a custom made one, just support me with the fabric!

These double breasted vests have been very popular so I decided to play around with it and give it a shot. It's perfect for the office or for a day out shopping, I wore it to lunch in Hoboken over the weekend with a group of girl friends. I wanted to play around with color since this scarf really inspired me, so I went with a bright yellow sweater. This would also be perfect for the spring, I can tell yellow is gonna be a hit this spring. Since I wanted to focus on the colors from the scarf, I went with tan boots and purse for a more casual look.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Watch: JCPENNEY // Purse: TJ Maxx // Bracelets: Alex & Ani , ICING , AVON // Lipstick: MAC "rebel"

Happy Weekend!
I wore this outfit over the weekend and was looking for something more on the casual side, because well, its the weekend. I saw this scarf and knew that this is what I wanted to build my outfit off of.  This wrap/ cardigan is so comfortable so I knew I wanted to put it on. As mentioned before, I've been wanting to add more details and accessories to my outfits, so I decided to throw in this fun "Indiana Jones" hat, my sister called it. Haha! This look was fun and effortless, yet still looks great together. Since I was working off the colors from the scarf, I went with these brown booties. So because I don't usually like sticking with one color or similar colors, I decided to add some blue! Hence why the random blue watch, bracelets, and clutch.
Thank you so much for visiting!

Cheese Fries

Happy Friday!
We all know that January is "resolution month" and many people start with the "new year new me" motto. Being healthy and exercise more is whatever wants to start the new year by doing. Sometimes a gym buddy really helps, a significant other, a family member, or a close friend. The motivation really helps push you to get out there. Plus, the two of you might get a little competitive and work even harder! It's good to make an agreement to go a specific amount of times a week to stay motivated. I understand sometimes life gets in the way but make sure to get at least 2 days in a week. There's also at home exercises, parks, etc. one doesn't always have to go to the gym. I make sure to start my workout by stretching and ending it with a delicious protein shake! Stretching before and after exercising is very important so that you don't get any cramps or pull something! I usually do the basic stretches and the few that the instructor shows in the classes I attend.

In this post, I am wearing the last collection from VS PINK. I have been obsessing over their latest collection! Their collection fits so well! I especially love the funny tops they have ( which I show here). Who doesn't wanna show up to the gym with a top that says "Whatever I'm getting cheese fries" ? I'm actually not a fan of cheese fries, I just found the top hilarious! Whether you're into running, yoga, or outdoor activities, the VS collection will keep you motivated and comfortable. I usually end my workout with a protein shake to maintain lean muscle. Protein shakes can be a little gross at times, but you can always add low fat ice cream, bananas, soy milk, almonds, etc. Mine was a toffee flavored protein shake that was delicious! Make sure not to baby sit the shake and drink it all at one go!  HERE are a few easy protein shake recipes!
I hope this pushes you to get out there and work out! Even if you start off with a walk in the park. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

What do you wear to work out?

Jumping Puddles

 Shirt: Francesca's // Vest: Francesca's // Boots: Hunter Boots // Purse: Jumi & Co.
Necklace: EXPRESS (Similar!) // Umbrella:  Target  (Similar) Lipstick: Too Faced

So lately in New Jersey we've been having a lot rain and snow, a lot of people think its ok to slip into sweats, a hoodie, and uggs. But today, I bring to you a comfortable, casual rainy day outfit. Instead of wearing a rain coat, I decided to go with a fur vest, a trench coat would go perfect with this outfit as well. I added a plaid button down for a pop of print to the look. You can barely see it but this shirt actually had a polka dot contrast on the sleeves, collar, and lining which really caught my eye. Style over a pair of jeans for the perfect rainy day outfit. I really wanted to add something basic and not over dramatic to the look, so I went with this pearl necklace I got from EXPRESS a few years back. I love adding old pieces to my outfits, makes me feel like I don't always have to go shopping for new clothes and search for new trends, but instead it's right there in my closet.  I went with a purple bag that went perfectly with the plaid top and umbrella. To complete the look, I went with a liquid melted violet lipstick to go along with the look.

What kind of outfits do you wear in the rain?
We're about to get hit with a huge blizzard in NJ.
Stay safe and warm!

Flounce

Dress: EXPRESS// Blazer:  EXPRESS (Similar here! here! ) // Shoes: H&M (Similar here!)
 Clutch: J.Crew (Similar ) // Sunglasses: Emblem Eyewear// Earrings: J.CREW
Are you ready for Valentine's Day? I know it's a bit early but here is one option for a cute Valentine's day outfit!
I wore this outfit a few days ago for a family celebration and it was just one of those days where I wanted to dress up and I thought this would also be perfect for Valentine's day. This dress caught my eye, it was so different and I just couldn't help myself when shopping for a dress. I really loved the color and I knew it was the perfect way to stand out. This "incendiary" midi dress fits perfectly with a stretch, spandex fit that hugs and flaunts every curve of your body. My favorite part has to be the ruffling hem, I love it! When I walk, it just bounces up and down with me. Its almost as if classic pin-up girl-meets-modern glamazon. I found this dress to be irresistible, sexy, yet sophisticated. This dress is actually strapless, but because I went to a more sophisticated look, I added a blazer to the outfit.
I decided to add some pattern to the look but adding a double dose of leopard, shoes and a clutch. I wanted to keep the rest of the look as simple as possible with basic jewlery.

Thank you so much for reading!

Denim // Denim

Watch: JCPenney  // Sunglasses: Emblem Eyewear
Earrings: J.crew // Bracelet: J.crew // Scarf: J.crew
I have been loving playing around with print and mixing and matching them as well. I was never really a big fan of wearing jeans, but that also changed since I started working so much and wearing dressy pants and button downs most of the day. But since one of my many resolutions this year is to change up my style and spice up the outfits I share with you all, I plan on doing just that! I want to move away from the basic pants and top, because any blogger can do that, so I want to start accessorizing more, adding more pieces, hats, scarves, as well as layering when necessary.

Lately I find myself gravitating more towards jeans and pairing them up with a printed top, shoes, purse, or scarf, similar to this outfit. The chambray and jean combination has been trending for some time now and I wanted to do something different yet stay casual. Leopard clutch, printed scarf is the perfect way to spice up this look! I wanted to focus on navy blue and brown as my main colors so I just started building off that. Pairing the clutch with the tan boots, and pairing the navy blue and white print scarf with the jeans and chambray top! It has been extremely cold in NJ so I had to throw on this "It couldn't be warmer than this" hat I got on sale from ZARA for $9.99 ! What a deal, huh? I went out for dinner with this outfit and the waitress was starring at it while taking my groups order, it was so funny because it's so long so I had shift my head so she can read the entire thing. hehe!
