SIMPLE

Jacket: The Limited
Pants: EXPRESS
Purse: TJ Maxx

Only a few more days until 2015! Tomorrow I will be showing a NYE inspired look, but today I'll post a regular work outfit. I wore this outfit last week to work when the weather was amazing and warm in December. I was in the mood to look very SCANDAL-Y. This jacket is actually from the new Scandal line in  The Limited. I am obsessed with Olivia Pope and her inspiring, gorgeous looks! I went with red, bold, pants with this checkered, peplum top because it was black and white, and I just love that pop of color. I love the whole white, black and red combo, hence the past few looks. Next, the shoes! I got these on black Friday, Call it Spring was having an extra sale on their sale items and I couldn't resist. Black heels are just a must have ! This bag has been my love for the past couple days, its so big and I love the handle part. Although I know its not a brand, that is completely fine. Every time I wear it out, I receive compliments and people ask me what brand it is. It looks like it mimics Tory Burch, but I'm not sure, it was just a purse that I found in TJ Maxx. I have been searching all over the place for a black purse that is perfect for work, and I found this one! It's very roomy and versatile, it has a long satchel so I can free up my hands, or wear it like I wore it here for a more complete look.

I hope that you all enjoy these last few days of the year!

HOLIDAYS IN RED

Dress: ZARA Hat: ICING Shoes: H&M Purse: EXPRESS

Merry Christmas Eve!
If you're not sure what to wear tomorrow, I have the perfect holiday outfit for you! Red is the perfect color, or green or a basic black dress, today I stuck with red. Burgundy works just as well too! My obsession with red has continued to be my top color choices.

My favorite part about this the neckline detail, it has this sophisticated yet sexy feel to it. I wanted to play with the look so I wore these bold leopard shoes, a brown purse, and a playful baby santa hat. The leopard shoes are perfect because they're different then the typical nude pumps.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
Happy Holidays!

Lost Files

Happy Thursday!

So I have finally graduated college and I am a full time employee. What a dream come true, it feels so good to complete with the first step of life to becoming successful. Next stop, graduate school, I'm so excited! I know I'm going to really miss school, the professor, my classmates, and mostly, I will miss learning. Let's go RUTGERS!

So I took a long break from blogging and I truly apologize because I've been so busy finishing up this last semester. I've missed every single one of you so much and I'm excited to be back and share more outfits than ever!

Skirt: EXPRESS
Top: EXPRESS
Shoes: Shoedazzle
Sunglasses: Emblem Eyewear

I wore this outfit to New York for a friends birthday dinner, it was the perfect outfit for the perfect setting. I paired this skirt with this blue top for a pop of color. A blazer was a must have for the chilly night and stripy heels for an extra spice to the outfit.

Sweetness

Dress: ZARA
Shoes: Vince Camuto

Happy Monday everyone!
For today's look, I stuck with a gorgeous full skirt dress. I must admit, I do have an obsession with these skirts. This dress is the perfect work dress, its long enough to wear around the office without worrying about length. It has a gorgeous detailed neckline so no need to wear a necklace. And lastly its short sleeves are the perfect must- haves for fall. Wear it with a nice blazer outside the office and take it off once in the office to show off that beautiful detailing.

Office Talk: Houndstooth Style

Happy Monday! To start off the week I wanted to share a work outfit to spice up an office look.

Skirt: Express
Top: Express
Jacket: Express
Ring: EXPRESS
Necklace:Express

I had to take advantage of the amazing weather we are having in NJ lately and pulled out this skirt and blazer. For this look I wanted to go for a black and red "business chic" outfit. I work in an office and have meetings all day, so I definitely need to look presentable throughout the day. Several offices are strict on what to wear such as no thin strap tank tops, or no open toe shoes. Skirts are allowed as long as they're an appropriate length. I'm not a big fan of wearing pants every single day of the work week so I style dresses, or skirts for the office. So outfits like these are always favorited in my wardrobe.

I have a feeling this fall will be filled with reds, bright reds. This top has really thin straps so I had to top if with a blazer. Which is fine because it goes really well with this outfit. I like to play around with my office outfits and add statement pieces whenever possible. So I went with gold jewelry and a feathery necklace.

Skyline

Outfit Details
Skirt: Forever21 (old) (Similar)
Shoes: Gojane
Purse: ALDO

This was a spur of the moment outfit, which has been happening a lot lately. I was in an all gray mood but I knew I wanted to add some color with shoes, and the bag was a last minute decision. For this look, I wanted to do a little bit of edgy meets chic. I've learned to embrace pencil skirts because of my height. This one is currently one of my favorites, it's long enough for work and play. I decided to pair it up with a houndstooth crop top because the skirt covered up my stomach anyway. I love this top because I can easily transition from a nice skirt for work or pair it up with jeans and booties for a chic look. The final touches were a pair gorgeous blue sandals to add a pop of color to this look and a color block purse to complete the outfit.
