New Year's Eve

Happy New Year's Eve my loves! Today is freezing so make sure to bundle up if you will be in the city. This is what i'm wearing tonight, I decided I didn't want to wear sequins because I didn't want to rock the sequin fad. So I went another route with this chiffon dress.

Dress: SheInside Apricot Dress
Purse: EXPRESS
Jewelry: EXPRESS
Stockings: EXPRESS
Coat:EXPRESS
Lipstick: Covergirl Enchantress

I'm keeping warm tonight with stockings and this beautiful red coat. Gold jewelry goes perfect with this Apricot colored dress. I had to keep my hair up for this dress to show off the beautiful detailed lace. I love this up do! it is easy, simple, yet elegant. I am loving this Covergirl Enchantress lipstick color and instead of going with the typical red for new year's I felt this pink color goes so well with the color of the dress.

Here's to an amazing & stylish year ahead.

Tribal

So this weekend I spent it in the city, the rain didn't stop me from going out and enjoying this fashion event. Since I've been posting a lot holiday inspired looks lately I decided to be a little casual today and it was raining so I mellowed down a bit. The event was held in The DL NYC Rooftop where I met fashion designers, stylists, and makeup artists.

My gorgeous friend Kimberly, I am so glad you came out with me, wouldn't have been able to survive that rain alone!

New bangs, what do you guys think?

Pants: Arden B
Lipstick: MAC Lady Danger
Boots: Just Fab

Due to the heavy rain, I kept this look simple and casual. The tribal top is actually really long, but I tucked it in, you can always wear it out with a cute belt and these blue leggings. I have been searching for a pair of leggings that aren't black, and found the perfect ones in Arden B. Oh! and I got bangs, I'm a little iffy about them at the moment, some friends said I look older which I don't like so I might keep them to the side some days and others I will let them out. Your feedback would be great.

Stay tuned for my New Year's Eve outfit tomorrow, I will post it before I head to the City.
What are your plans?

Madonna & Co

I had the opportunity to visit Madonna & Co boutique located in the heart of SOHO! They have amazing vintage pieces using all sorts of fabric, jewelry, and exclusive designs. I put some New Year's outfits together for you guys! Enjoy! Stay tuned for upcoming events in their flagship store.

The first outfit is simple and elegant for those of you who don't like to go all out on New Year's Eve! I paired a leather dress with black stockings. This is a more conservative yet edgy dress, pair it with a pair of heels and you are all set for the New Year. Because this look is simple, I decided to spice it up with two choices of clutches, a bedazzles clutch, and a simple studded copper cellphone clutch. By pairing this look with simple studded jewelry, I kept the focus on the main piece, the dress.

Here is another NYE outfit, with lots of sequin! This second outfit is my personal favorite because it goes along with the whole NYE sequins season.

I fell in love with their jewelry! It is so different and stands out so well! You can see more HERE. They carry a large selection of bracelets, necklaces, rings, headbands, belts, and clutches.

Here is 15% off your purchase!

Have a safe and wonderful New Years Eve and New Years Day!

Gold Sequin

I hope everyone is almost done holiday shopping!  When considering what to wear this holiday, whether for a friends or family party, here are 2 ideas...

First Outfit
Dress: EXPRESS
Shoes: BCBG
Bracelet: SexyChic Boutique
Lipstick: MAC Relentless Red
Bag: Forever 21

Second Outfit
Dress: EXPRESS
Shoes: BCBG
Bracelet: SexyChic Boutique
Lipstick: MAC Relentless Red
Bag: Forever 21

So, here are two outfit ideas for any holiday party, whether christmas, new years eve, any event this holiday season. I absolutely love both outfits because they blend so well! The first outfit is actually a dress, the "sequin top" is a shot dress and I just added the Windsor skirt to add some black to the outfit, I think the sequin dress was a little over the top. And the envelop skirt just looks much better rather than just an all over sequin dress. This day was gorgeous, I'm in New Jersey and its currently 58, weird, I know! But who knows what the weather will be like during the actually holiday, I would definitely recommend black stockings for the cold with both outfits. The black purse goes along with the outfit very well, you can also wear a nice red clutch. To something bold to this look because I know it needed it, I went with a red lip, MACs relentless red.

The second outfit consists of two different dresses, the skirt is my favorite part of this outfit because it just adds so much more shape to any women, or if you want to cover something up, I would go with this skirt! I would wear this to a work party, its more elegant and fancy. The bow compliments the sequin so well and it doesn't even look like two separate pieces.

Hope you all have a safe and amazing Holiday with family and friends!

Fall Layering

Ok, so it just snowed here in NJ and I miss blogging! So I had to take a study break and get some shots in the snow!
Also, good luck to those of you who have exams in college at the moment!

Top: Forever 21 (Similar)
Vest: Forever21 Denim Vest
Scarf: American Eagle
Pants: EXPRESS
Shoes: ZARA
Bracelet:Turqoise Copper

Here is a fun way to layer without putting on so much weight.
I recently wore this button down lightweight shirt with a denim vest and a cute stylish scarf to keep me warm and casual. Although this is a little light, you might think how is this layering? Which is exactly why I decided to add the scarf to give me a little extra warmth throughout the day. Believe it or not, I was actually getting pretty hot.

If you don't like the vest, you can always wear a a simple sweater and match it up with a scarf or statement necklace. Pair lightweight pieces over chunky fabrics
If you want to pair this with a cute simple sweater I would recommend this sweater HERE
It is simple, cheap and light! wear it with a vest, or not and you're ready!

Hello Yellow !

Hello Fashionistas! Last night I went to Madonna&Co Fashion Show at the SkyRoom Hotel. I had the opportunity to meet so many people including the designers, photographers, and models.

Top: Arden B Sweeheart Peplum
Leggings: ArdenB (Similar)
Necklace: ShopLately Pendant Necklace
Boots: JustFab

On this day, it had snowed early in the morning so I decided to stay warm with a long sleeve sexy bright yellow peplum top, and a pair of sexy black leggings with a hint of gold with gold statement jewelry yet simple black boots.

I fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it. The bright yellow made me stand out at this event, who would think to wear yellow? I also own no yellow tops so I figured why not. The Sweetheart part of my top made this look very sexy and the peplum part made it fun. I couldn't decide on whether or not to tuck the peplum part in or keep it out so I did it changed ways throughout the night.  And these leggings were exactly what I was looking for when I was shopping for this night. The gold part is attached to the leggings, I know it looks like a belt, but it is attached. The leggings hugged my tights so it gave me a nice shape and the peplum added some curves. This gold statement pendant necklace made my outfit! The three glass drill spiced up the look because it went very well with the heart part of my top. The earrings were plain pyramid shaded studs, because I didn't want my necklace to clash with a pair of statement earrings as well. LESS IS MORE! Remember that!So because I was going to New York and because it was freezing, I couldn't wear heels, so I decided to keep it simple and go with black boots. I wanted all of the attention to be on my top and the statement necklace. I couldn't cover up the beautiful necklace so I went with a bun on this day, it looked elegant and clean. And for this bold lip color, MAC Relentless Red because my makeup was simple.
