Sweetness

Dress: ZARA
Shoes: Vince Camuto

Happy Monday everyone!
For today's look, I stuck with a gorgeous full skirt dress. I must admit, I do have an obsession with these skirts. This dress is the perfect work dress, its long enough to wear around the office without worrying about length. It has a gorgeous detailed neckline so no need to wear a necklace. And lastly its short sleeves are the perfect must- haves for fall. Wear it with a nice blazer outside the office and take it off once in the office to show off that beautiful detailing.

Office Talk: Houndstooth Style

Happy Monday! To start off the week I wanted to share a work outfit to spice up an office look.

Skirt: Express
Top: Express
Jacket: Express
Ring: EXPRESS
Necklace:Express

I had to take advantage of the amazing weather we are having in NJ lately and pulled out this skirt and blazer. For this look I wanted to go for a black and red "business chic" outfit. I work in an office and have meetings all day, so I definitely need to look presentable throughout the day. Several offices are strict on what to wear such as no thin strap tank tops, or no open toe shoes. Skirts are allowed as long as they're an appropriate length. I'm not a big fan of wearing pants every single day of the work week so I style dresses, or skirts for the office. So outfits like these are always favorited in my wardrobe.

I have a feeling this fall will be filled with reds, bright reds. This top has really thin straps so I had to top if with a blazer. Which is fine because it goes really well with this outfit. I like to play around with my office outfits and add statement pieces whenever possible. So I went with gold jewelry and a feathery necklace.

Outfit Details
Skirt: Forever21 (old) (Similar)
Shoes: Gojane
Purse: ALDO

This was a spur of the moment outfit, which has been happening a lot lately. I was in an all gray mood but I knew I wanted to add some color with shoes, and the bag was a last minute decision. For this look, I wanted to do a little bit of edgy meets chic. I've learned to embrace pencil skirts because of my height. This one is currently one of my favorites, it's long enough for work and play. I decided to pair it up with a houndstooth crop top because the skirt covered up my stomach anyway. I love this top because I can easily transition from a nice skirt for work or pair it up with jeans and booties for a chic look. The final touches were a pair gorgeous blue sandals to add a pop of color to this look and a color block purse to complete the outfit.

Seeing Red

Happy FriYAY!

I felt like I was in the 1950's while wearing this high waist full midi skirt. I like to call this outfit a "lady-like" or vintage silhouette with this lovely full red skirt and print top. I wore to work during the day then a school cocktail party at night. I was definitely dressed for the occasion! Its a flirty party type of skirt that is also office-appropriate. What I really love about this skirt is that it has deep pockets so I can carry anything without it bulging out. I am absolutely in love with this top, it goes perfect with this skirt. I love a good red, white and black combo! I have been obsessing over those three colors lately. I think it might be a fall thing and those colors. Anyway, this top was loose just perfect for the weather, its thin and long which doesn't have me cold of hot. I kept the rest of the look neutral with black heels and purse. I think the skirt really completed the look so I didn't want to over exaggerate it with anything additional.

To kick this fall weather off I wanted to share a fun flirty look. I wore this to brunch over the weekend in the city. This look is also perfect for work, dinner, a fun lunch, or event drinks with friends. This skirt and top is the perfect outfit for fall, the skirt is very thick and the top is sheer and thin. Bandaged skirts have been making their way in today's fashion and I am loving it! This skirt is extremely comfortable and I especially love the texture design. My love for skirts continues and I just can't seem to get enough of the full skirts. I thought it would be nice to play with the colors on the skirt a bit and pair it up with a nice coral purse. I styled it with a nice sheer pink top that isn't thick which is perfect for walking around especially in the city. This outfit was just perfect for the weather, it wasn't chilly and it wasn't hot, it actually just finished raining before I had a chance to shoot. The final touches were a gorgeous blue floral statement necklace and nude pumps which I am still obsessed over.

Blue Hue

Shoes: BCBG (Similar Here!)
Sunglasses: Emblem Eyewear

Happy Monday everyone!
For today's look, I decided to go all out fall. I have been missing the whole leopard print and color combo so I decided to pull this outfit together even though it's still a bit hot in NJ! I couldn't resist this gorgeous statement necklace. I wanted to stay within the colors of the blouse so I went with black basic heels and a tan purse to match my top. The reason this top really caught my eye is that I can roll up the sleeves for a casual look with jeans or colored pants, or I can wear it rolled down for a work meeting with a cute pencil skirt or tucked in to walk around the office in. So for a classic sophisticated outfit wear it with a suit, or a stylish, sexy night out with a slim skirt.
