Peak Lapel

I couldn't help but shoot in beautiful Chicago! They dyed the river green for St. Patrick's day and it looked beautiful!

This was one of my work outfits in Chicago that I wore. It is freezing there so I knew I wanted to bundle up yet be comfortable in my outfit and still look sophisticated and stylish. So I went with this white and denim blue striped jacket to keep me looking flattering throughout the long working day. The jacket is light weight so it is perfect for spring which I loved because I wasn't too hot in this long sleeve jacket throughout the day. What better way to pair this beautiful jacket with a gorgeous mink editor pants? These pants are so sleek and perfect for the work week! I stuck with flats for this look because I wanted to be comfortable and I was out of the hotel room all day. But I would definitely wear heels with this look, a cute pair of nude heels would go perfect!

I hope you're having a great weekend!

Amore Classic Straightener

I have been using this hair straightener for about 3 months now and I absolutely love it! I received it as a gift from my sister in Christmas and I've been using it ever since.

It was about time I received a new straightener, the inside of my old one was getting worn out, which I hope doesn't happen this one. For the past 3 months, after each use I noticed that the straightener left my hair shiny and healthy. But when using other flat irons, it can make your hair look dry and damaged, especially on the ends. I am glad to say that the Amore Classic Straightener didn't do that.

 Some Amore Classic Straightener Features

- Swivel cord
- Adjustable temperature of 200º-460º F
- Heats in as quickly as 25 seconds
-lightweight and travel friendly
-Holder mounts to a wall, glass, or countertop
-1.25" of 100% ceramic plate

With the Amore Classic Straightener, I can finally curl my bangs the way I love them because of the curved plate edges.
With other straighteners, I would usually have to put a towel under it so it doesn't burn if I leave it for too long, or start smelling like plastic. Sometimes when I put it on the towel, it would even burn the towel, which isn't so fun. Which is why I really love this product. With the Amore Classic Straightener, it comes with its own classic iron holder and sticks to the table, counter, wherever you please!

You can buy it on Groupon for only $32.99 !

What's your favorite straightener/ curling iron?

Feminine Touch

Happy Thursday My Loves!

This fun and chic look was worn in Chicago, for dinner and drinks with co-workers. I wanted to stay sophisticated yet stylish. I saw the sweater and fell in LOVE, the texture has a suede feel to it, and the peplum part adds some curves to my look and the perfect feminine touch. I went with blue cropped ankle pants because it matched very well with the brown jacket. The pumps, what add the chic-ness to this look, is a great addition to the look, I wasn't trying to match it with my jacket, but another shade of brown, a nude pump always looks great. My favorite accessory, the clutch, you guys know how I love to add pops of patterns to my look. I had to add this lean, horizontal silhouette sleek and vibrant geo printed clutch. And to top this look off, I went with gold accessories and this huge necklace to match the gold zippers in the moto jacket.

Chicago!

All packed up and ready to go to Chicago !

I bought the suitcase from Marshall's and I took the purse that my best friend got me.

The windy city, Chi Town, Chicago, the many many names it has! It is absolutely beautiful and I will be returning, but the weather must be a little warmer.

Chicago looks like New York, doesn't it?

I'm going to do a blogpost on this look very soon.

The green river, it is not dirty, they dye it this color specifically for St. Patricks Day.

I got the chance to shoot in Chicago, blog coming soon, stay tuned :)

First night out to dinner

Made some friends in Chicago, Melissa and Patricia.

Oh! Chicago pizza!!! Deep dish pizza that is, so delicious and filling!!

And one more selfie!!

I can't wait to start coming here more often and spending more time in the city, trying out more food and going for longer walks. After Chicago I went straight to Los Angeles with warmer weather. I'll do a separate post on my experience there so stay tuned.

Spring Stripes

So I had a disfunction with my last post and it deleted on its own, what a bummer!

So I'm back from vacation and I can't wait to share with you guys all the pictures of food and outfits from Chicago and Los Angeles. But for now here is a spring outfit ....

Dress: H&MSleeveless Dress Blazer: EXPRESS(Similar) Striped Stretch Cotton Blazer Handbag:ALDO ShoesSconce satchel Pumps:Shoedazzle Belt:EXPRESS Bracelet:EXPRESS

My favorite piece of clothing to wear during the spring has got to be the dress! I get so excited right out of winter and can't wait to wear dresses, it's just the perfect weather. This yellow dress is the perfect spring dress. The color and the length are my favorite because it's perfect for work and play and I stood out like a blossom in this bright color. The sweater contrasted perfectly with the yellow, and the stripes added the perfect pattern to plain dress. I have been looking for nude shoes everywhere until I came across these babies from Shoedazzle, your first shoe is discounted, so I took advantage and bought these perfect spring nude shoes that go well with any outfit. I can't wait to incorporate them with some more outfits this spring! This handbag is gorgeous!!!! I received it as a gift from my best friend for my birthday and I fell in love! the color, the size, the shape, so cute! I can wear it either as a handbag like I am here, or as a satchel, which is perfect because sometimes I don't like carrying my bag in my hand. Its also the perfect statement bag I needed to add that extra POP!

What is your favorite spring accessory?
